It is 4:40 on August 8. I can't sleep and have only slept about 3 hours this night! At 6 AM the family will arise and I will go with them to witness the induction of labor so my daughter can bring her new little son into the world! I kept telling her that this little guy was just waiting for Gramsie to get here! It was a long trip from Tennessee but we arrived early enough to see Kaley his big sister who turns 2 tomorrow!
The name has been kept a secret. This little guy is a really important person to this Gramsie! Guess that is true for most Gramsies but it seems extra special to me. My other daughter had a crisis pregnancy and her little son was placed in a loving home with parents that could care for him and as I have said on this blog before that broke my heart! But pictures and reports of him growing up healthy and happy have helped to ease the pain. And now I will get to enjoy this little guy as he grows up and becomes a man! I can't wait! I have just been too excited to sleep!
