The Power of the Promise

I was walking in the 17 degree crispness of the morning today and my mind began to think again on how unsafe this world is for kids! I tremble when I think of how this society has been deconditioned and reconditioned to accept violance. I know violence against children has always existed. In the past it wwas seldom talked about and viewed with horror and dismay. Now almost every news story has something about it and while it is not minimized it has worn on the sensibilities of all of us. We can tolerate only so much overload about these grim events!

So what is a grandma to do!!! This Gramsie wishes she had some sort of special cloak to throw around her dear ones that would protect them and make sure that the children were allowed to grow free and innocent and happy!

And I came again to the fact of my faith! How often in the past the power of God's promises has sustained and strengthened me. Somehow I believe deep down that there is nothing more powerful that I can use as a cloak of protection!

And so today I add a new feature to Gramsie Grams, the "Promise N Prayer Power" section. Please also visit the "Kid Safety" section and see what you can be actively doing to keep kids safe but never forget that in the end the Power of God's Promises and our Prayers for our kids will also invite the resources of Heaven for their safety!
